PEDRO SOLÍS GARCÍA

Productor y Director de Animación

Con su cortometraje ‘Cuerdas’ ha logrado más de 300 premios nacionales e internacionales, inaugurando la categoría de cortometraje de animación más premiado de la historia en el Guinness World of Records y logrando además un gran éxito editorial en su adaptación a cuento. Antes, este profesional surgido del mundo de los videojuegos -sector en el que desarrolló diversas tareas, desde 3D artist hasta producción- ya había entrado en el mundo del cine de animación formando parte de los equipos de ‘Tadeo Jones’ (2004) y ‘Tadeo Jones y el sótano maldito’ (2006), ambos dirigidos por Enrique Gato, y logrando su primer Goya como director del corto de animación ‘La Bruxa’ (2010). Ha sido el director de producción de los tres largometrajes dirigidos por Gato: ‘Las aventuras de Tadeo Jones’ (2012) -ganadora de tres premios Goya-, ‘Atrapa la bandera’ (2015) y ‘Tadeo Jones 2: El secreto del Rey Midas’, entrenada en verano de 2017 y que se convirtió en la película española más taquillera de aquel año.

Estudió Arte Dramático en la Escuela Nacional de Teatro Clásico e interpretación con John Strasberg en Madrid y Nueva York. Actriz desde los quince años, ha participado en con obras como, ‘A secreto agravio, secreta venganza’, ‘Don Juan Tenorio’, ‘Garcilaso’, ‘La fiera Corrupia’, ‘Fausto 94’, ‘Lo cierto es que siempre’ o el musical ‘José, el soñador’. En cine ha protagonizado los cortometrajes ‘Anónimos’ (Félix Llorente, 2011), ‘A veces viene’ (Llorente, 2013) y ‘The Light Thief’ (Eva Daoud, 2015), y en el largometraje ‘Exodus: Dioses y Reyes’ (2014) bajo la dirección de Ridley Scott. Entre sus apariciones en televisión destacan sus papeles en las series de TVE ‘Águila Roja’, ‘Centro médico’, ‘Cuéntame cómo pasó’ y ‘Olmos y Robles’ o en los programas ‘Hola, ¿qué tal? El curso de español’ (Canal Internacional) o ‘Libros con uasabi’ (La2).

María studied Dramatic Art at the National School of Classical Theater and acting with John Strasberg in Madrid and New York. Actress since the age of fifteen, she has participated in works such as ‘A secret offense, secret revenge’, ‘Don Juan Tenorio’, ‘Garcilaso’, ‘La fiera Corrupia’, ‘Fausto 94’, ‘The truth is that always’ or the musical ‘José, el soñador’. In cinema he has starred in the short films ‘Anonymous’ (Félix Llorente, 2011), ‘Sometimes it comes’ (Llorente, 2013) and ‘The Light Thief’ (Eva Daoud, 2015), and in the feature film ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ (2014) under the direction of Ridley Scott. Her appearances on television include her roles in the TVE series ‘Red Eagle’, ‘Medical Center’, ‘Tell me how it happened’ and ‘Olmos and Robles’ or in the programs ‘Hello, how are you? The Spanish course ’(Canal Internacional) or‘ Libros con uasabi ’(La2).

ALBERTO SANZ

Presidente del Cineclub Alcarreño

Gran amante del Séptimo Arte desde que, siendo muy joven, se convirtiera en un asiduo de las proyecciones del Cineclub Alcarreño desde mediados de los años noventa, asociándose en 2001 y entrando a formar parte de la junta directiva en 2003 para hacerse cargo de la programación. Desde 2005 ostenta el cargo de presidente, llevando a cabo la coordinación de diferentes actividades, tales como la Muestra Alcarreña de Cortometrajes, la Linterna Mágica, charlas, conferencias, coloquios, ponencias… Ha sido en dos ocasiones miembro del jurado del Festival de Cine Solidario de Guadalajara (FESCIGU), y desde 2007 forma parte de la organización de esta importante cita cultural y cinematográfica alcarreña.

A great lover of Seventh Art since, when he was very young, he became a regular at the projections of the Cineclub Alcarreño since the mid-1990s, associating in 2001 and joining the board of directors in 2003 to take over the programming . Since 2005, he has held the position of president, coordinating different activities, such as the Alcarreña Short Film Show, the Magic Lantern, talks, conferences, colloquia, presentations … He has twice been a member of the jury of the Solidarity Film Festival from Guadalajara (FESCIGU), and since 2007 has been part of the organization of this important cultural and cinematographic event in Alcarreña.
