Desde que debutara en el campo de los efectos visuales con ‘Águila Roja’ hace ahora diez años, se ha convertido en todo un referente internacional en el campo de los VFX. Saltó al cine para trabajar en animación (‘Planet 51’, ‘Happy Feet 2’), pero pronto pasó a los trucajes digitales en algunas de las superproducciones más potentes de la última década: ‘Prometheus’, ‘Guerra Mundial Z’, la trilogía de ‘El Hobbit’, ‘El amanecer del planeta de los simios’, ‘Star Trek: Más allá’, ‘Tomb Raider’ o ‘Megalodón’. Preguntarle por Marvel o DC es como hacerle elegir entre papá o mamá, porque lo mismo se curra un ‘Hombre de Acero’, ‘Liga de la Justicia’ o ‘Aquaman’ que ‘Guardianes de la Galaxia vol. 2’ o ‘Ant-Man y la Avispa’. Sus últimos trabajos han sido para la esperada final season de ‘Juego de Tronos’ y la nueva ‘Terminator’, aún sin título definitivo, al tiempo que difunde su trabajo en conferencias alrededor del mundo o a través de sus redes sociales.
Since her debuted in the field of visual effects with TV Spanish show ‘Red Eagle’ ten years ago, she has become an international reference in the field of VFX. She jumped to movies to work in animation (‘Planet 51’, ‘Happy Feet 2’), but soon switched to digital tricks on some of the most powerful blockbusters of the last decade: ‘Prometheus’, ‘World War Z’, ‘The Hobbit’ trilogy, ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’, ‘Star Trek: Beyond’, ‘Tomb Raider’ or ‘Megalodon’. Asking her for Marvel or DC is like making her choose between dad or mom, because she works in ‘Man of Steel’, ‘League of Justice’ or ‘Aquaman’ as soon does in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2’ or ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp ‘. Her latest works have been for the expected ‘Game of Thrones’ final season and the new untitled ‘Terminator’ film, while shows her work in conferences and masterclasses around the world or through their social networks.

LAURA GALÁN MONTIJANO
Actriz
Diplomada en Arte Dramático por la escuela Arte4 de Madrid en 2004, tiene una larga trayectoria como actriz de teatro, sobre todo bajo la batuta de Andrés de Lima (‘Capitalismo’, Los Macbez’, ‘Medea’, ‘Sueño’). Ha aparecido en los cortos ‘Cinco cenas’, ‘Rara’, ‘El candidato’, ‘Yo, Ulrike, grito’ y ‘Cerdita’, con el que ya ha ganado innumerables premios, entre ellos el Goya de la Academia al Mejor Cortometraje de Ficción 2018. El pasado año pudimos verla en la esperada ‘El hombre que mató a Don Quijote’ de Terry Gilliam y en la televisiva ‘Cuerpo de élite’. Tras dos veranos consecutivos colgando el «localidades agotadas» en el madrileño Pavón Kamikaze, esta temporada repetirá en la secuela de ‘Las crónicas de Peter Sanchidrián’, de nuevo a las órdenes del capitán José Padilla y donde además de reencontrarse con parte de la tripulación original se les unirá un nuevo «polizón», Pepe Viyuela.
Formed in Dramatic Art by the Arte4 School (Madrid) in 2004, she has a long career as a theater actress, especially under the direction of Andrés de Lima (‘Capitalism’, ‘The Macbez’, ‘Medea’,’Dream’). She has appeared in the short films ‘Five dinners’, ‘Strange’, ‘The candidate’, ‘I, Ulrike, scream’ and ‘Piggy’, one of the most awared shorts in 2018 and nominated for Goya prize of the Spanish Film Academy (awards date: February 2nd., 2019). Last year we could see her in the expected Terry Gilliam’s ‘The man who killed Don Quixote’ and in ‘Elite Corps’ TV show. After two consecutive summers hanging the «sold out» in Pavón Kamikaze Theatre (Madrid), this season will repeat in the sequel to ‘The Chronicles of Peter Sanchidrián’, again under the command of Captain José Padilla and where in addition to meet again with part of the crew original will be joined by a new «stowaway», Pepe Viyuela.

Físico teórico y cinéfilo
Desde pequeño, el cine (bueno y malo) siempre fue una obsesión para él, con especial predilección hacia el género fantástico y la ciencia-ficción. Una pasión que le llevó a especializarse en ciencias, concretamente en la rama de la física teórica (sí, como Sheldon Cooper), aunque desconocemos si también comparte pasión warsie y trekker con los chicos de ‘The Big Bang Theory’. En la actualidad, además de estudiar y trabajar en mecánica cuántica, teoría de matrices aleatorias, física de la materia condensada y un buen número más de áreas en el Instituto de Estructura de la Materia de Madrid (IEM), imparte clases como profesor de matemáticas en institutos, escuelas especializadas y universidades. Y sigue viendo cine. Mucho cine.
Since he was a little boy, (good and bad) films was always an obsession for him, with special predilection for fantastic and science fiction genres.
