es autor de más de una veintena de libros que le han convertido en referente del género fantástico en particular y de la crítica de cine en general. entre sus publicaciones encontramos ‘satán en hollywood. una historia másiga del cine’, ‘psychokillers. retrato del asesino en serie’, ‘los poetas de la sangre. el nuevo cine de terror y de la crueldad francés’ -éste, como coordinador para el festival de cine de gijón- así como otros libros divulgativos sobre cine como ‘la fábrica de sueños’, ‘alégrame el día. el cine de hollywood en sus mejores frases’, ‘qué debes saber para parecer un cinéfilo’ y varias monografías. también ha coordinado ‘métal hurlant y el cine fantástico’ y ‘la bestia en la pantalla. alesteir crowley y el cine fantástico’ para la semana de cine fantástico de san sebastiáN, Y UNA SERIE DE INNOVADORES LIBROS SOBRE CINE NEGRO PARA EL FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE DE LAS PALMAS, CERTAMEN DEL QUE ES MIEMBRO DE SU COMITÉ DESDE SU FUNDACIÓN EN EL AÑO 2000. COMO CRÍTICO, COLABORA HABITUALMENTE EN ‘FOTOGRAMAS’, ‘EL CULTURAL’, ‘NOSFERATU’ Y ‘DIRIGIDO POR’, ENTRE OTRAS PUBLICACIONES, ADEMÁS DE IMPARTIR CLASES, CURSOS Y CONFERENCIAS EN UNIVERSIDADES Y FUNDACIONES DE TODO EL PAÍS.
santanderina de nacimiento, se trasladó a madrid tras completar sus estudios de diseño gráfico para trabajar como formadora en diferentes áreas artísticas. es a partir de 2005 cuando empieza a tomar contacto con el mundo de la literatura, trabajando como correctora, diseñadora, redactora y editora en diferentes editoriales. en 2010 publica su primera novela, ‘white creek manor. el secreto de los hawkins’, y un año después participa en la antología ‘el hilo de sofía’ (publicado por la universidad de sofía en su edición búlgara) con el cuento titulado ‘el cáliz de sangre’. suyas son también las sagas literarias infantiles ‘viajeros del tiempo’ y ‘escuela de baile’. además de talleres, charlas y masterclasses sobre creatividad y escritura, en los últimos años su carrera ha empezado a discurrir también por el mundo del cine como guionista y productora de la mano del cineasta víctor matellano, participando en el cortometraje ‘llámame vampus’ (2018) y los largometrajes ‘vampus horror tales’ (2020) y ‘el valle del concavenator’ (en producción, 2022).
EMPEZÓ SU CARRERA EN EL MUNDO DE LA INTERPRETACIÓN A LOS 6 AÑOS, EN TEATRO INFANTIL. PARTICIPÓ EN MULTITUD DE MONTAJES, DESDE OBRAS PARA NIÑOS HASTA CLÁSICOS UNIVERSALES PASANDO POR LA ZARZUELA. EN 1982 SE INICIA EN EL DOBLAJE, CUYA IMPORTANTE LABOR LE LLEVA A INICIARSE TAMBIÉN COMO LOCUTOR PUBLICITARIO A FINALES DE LOS AÑOS OCHENTA PARA CUÑAS RADIOFÓNICAS Y SPOTS DE TELEVISIÓN PARA ALGUNAS GRANDES MARCAS E INSTITUCIONES. BEN AFFLECK, CHISTIAN BALE (BATMAN), PATRICK DEMPSEY (DEREK SHEPERD EN ‘ANATOMÍA DE GREY’), paul rudd (ant-man) Y OTTO (‘LOS SIMPSONS’) LE DEBEN SU CARACTERÍSTICA VOZ EN CASTELLANO, ASÍ COMO MULTITUD DE PERSONAJES EN VIDEOJUEGOS (‘ASSASSIN’S CREED’, ETC). ACTUALMENTE, ADEMÁS, COMPAGINA SU ACTIVIDAD PROFESIONAL CON LA DOCENCIA COMO PROFESOR DEL MÁSTER DE LOCUCIÓN AUDIOVISUAL, PUBLICITARIA Y DOCUMENTAL EN LA UNIVERSIDAD REY JUAN CARLOS, ADEMÁS DE IMPARTIR CHARLAS Y CONFERENCIAS SOBRE SU EXPERIENCIA EN DOBLAJE Y LOCUCIÓN POR TODA LA GEOGRAFÍA ESPAÑOLA.

He is the author of more than twenty books that have made him a reference in the fantastic genre in particular and in film criticism in general. among his publications we find ‘satan in hollywood. a masiga history of cinema’, ‘psychokillers. portrait of the serial killer’, ‘the blood poets. the new french horror and cruelty cinema’ -this one, as coordinator for the gijon film festival- as well as other informative books on cinema such as ‘the dream factory’, ‘make my day. hollywood cinema in its best phrases’, ‘what you need to know to look like a movie buff’ and various monographs. he has also coordinated ‘métal hurlant and fantastic cinema’ and ‘the beast on the screen. alesteir crowley and fantastic cinema’ for the san sebastiáN fantastic film week, AND A SERIES OF INNOVATIVE BOOKS ON BLACK CINEMA FOR THE LAS PALMAS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, AN COMPETITION OF WHICH HE HAS BEEN A MEMBER OF ITS COMMITTEE SINCE ITS FOUNDATION IN THE YEAR 2000. AS A CRITIC, HE REGULARLY COLLABORATES IN ‘FOTOGRAMAS’, ‘EL CULTURAL’, ‘NOSFERATU’ AND ‘DIRIGIDO POR’, AMONG OTHER PUBLICATIONS, IN ADDITION TO TEACHING CLASSES, COURSES AND CONFERENCES AT UNIVERSITIES AND FOUNDATIONS THROUGHOUT SPAIN.
born in santander, she moved to madrid after completing her studies in graphic design to work as a trainer in different artistic areas. in 2005 she begins to make contact with the world of literature, working as a proofreader, designer and editor in different publishers. in 2010 she publishes her first novel, ‘white creek manor. the secret of the hawkins ‘, and one year later she participates in the anthology ‘the thread of sofia ‘(published by the university of sofia in its bulgarian edition) with the short story titled ‘the chalice of blood’. also she is the author of the children’s literary sagas ‘time travelers’ and ‘dance school’. in addition to workshops, talks and masterclasses on creativity and writing, in recent years her career has also begun to run through the world of movies as a screenwriter and producer with the filmmaker víctor matellano, participating in the short film ‘call me vampus’ (2018 ) and the feature films ‘vampus horror tales’ (2020) and ‘concavenator’s valley’ (in production, 2022).
HE STARTED HIS CAREER AS AN ACTOR AT THE AGE OF 6, IN KID’S THEATER. HE PARTICIPATED IN A MULTITUDE OF PRODUCTIONS, FROM WORKS FOR CHILDREN TO UNIVERSAL CLASSICS, PASSING THROUGH ZARZUELA. IN 1982 HE STARTED DUBBING, WHOSE IMPORTANT WORK LEADED HIM TO ALSO START AS AN ADVERTISING ANNOUNCER AT THE END OF THE EIGHTIES FOR RADIO RINGS AND TELEVISION SPOTS FOR SOME BIG BRANDS AND INSTITUTIONS. BEN AFFLECK, CHISTIAN BALE (BATMAN), PATRICK DEMPSEY (DEREK SHEPERD IN ‘GREY’S ANATOMY’), PAUL RUUD (ANT-MAN) AND OTTO (‘THE SIMPSONS’) OWE THEIR CHARACTERISTIC VOICE IN SPANISH, AS WELL AS A MULTITUDE OF CHARACTERS IN VIDEO GAMES (‘ASSASSIN’S CREED’, ETC). CURRENTLY, IN ADDITION, HE COMBINES HIS PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY WITH TEACHING AS A PROFESSOR OF THE MASTER’S DEGREE IN AUDIOVISUAL, ADVERTISING AND DOCUMENTARY SPEECH AT REY JUAN CARLOS UNIVERSITY, IN ADDITION TO GIVING TALKS AND CONFERENCES ON HIS EXPERIENCE IN DUBBING AND SPEECH THROUGHOUT SPAIN.
