Cuando se estaban realizando los preparativos para la histórica misión lunar Apolo 11, se necesitaban tres estaciones espaciales en todo el mundo para realizar un seguimiento del vuelo espacial. Uno estaba en California, otro en Australia y el tercero estaba en un pueblo tranquilo y desconocido en el centro de España. El “Lugar Más Ideal” muestra el papel crucial que jugó el pueblo de Fresnedillas en julio de 1969. Este documental cuenta la historia de los españoles locales que inesperadamente se convirtieron en una parte importante de este evento monumental.
When preparations were being made for the historic Apollo 11 moon mission, three space stations around the globe were needed to keep track of the spaceflight. One was in California, one in Australia and the third was in an unknown sleepy village in the middle of Spain. The “Most Ideal Place” shows the crucial role that the town of Fresnedillas played in July 1969. This documentary tells the story of the local Spaniards who unexpectedly became an important part of this monumental event.
